Installation & Care

Installation

Tiles must be installed in accordance with the Australian Building Code and the applicable Australian standards to ensure safety, quality, and durability. It is essential that the installation is done by a licensed tiler, and a detailed written contract outlining the scope of work is provided. Failure to use a licensed professional could result in voiding any warranties.

It’s important to understand that color, size, and texture can naturally vary from one batch of tiles to another. To avoid noticeable differences when installing, it’s recommended to order an additional 15% of tiles to ensure you have enough from the same batch, as matching colors and shades later can be difficult and inconsistent.

Before beginning the installation, carefully review the tiles to confirm that you’re happy with the color, shade, and overall appearance. Once the tiles are installed, this constitutes acceptance of the product, and any concerns about appearance cannot be addressed afterward. Proper planning and checking will help avoid potential disappointments and ensure a smooth installation process.

Care

Tiles are easy to maintain with simple care. Regular sweeping and vacuuming will help remove loose debris and keep them looking clean.

For deeper cleaning, you can use a specialized tile cleaner, but it's important to avoid abrasive cleaners or substances that could scratch or damage the surface. Always follow the manufacturer's instructions, and make sure to thoroughly rinse off the cleaning solution with clean water. Afterward, dry the tiles with a clean towel or mop to prevent residue buildup
